Track Warehouse Stock for Your Vending Business
Count the stock you keep at home or in storage, see what to reorder and what is about to expire, and shop from an order list in MyVendbook.
What you will learn
- Count what you keep at home or in storage
- Spot what to reorder and what is about to expire
- Use the order list when you shop
Step by step
- Open the Warehouse. In Stocking and Inventory, open the Warehouse tab. It is everything you keep at home or in a storage unit, before it goes on the truck.
- Your numbers at a glance. See how many items you stock, the units on hand, what needs ordering, and what expires in 30 days. These are counted by hand, not from your machines.
- Count what you have. Tap minus or plus, or type the exact count. Minus case takes a whole case out when you load the truck.
- Read the bar. The bar shows what you have against what you want. The small line marks your reorder level. Green is stocked, amber says order soon, red is out.
- Batches and best-by dates. Open Batches and settings to add what arrived, with its best-by date. The oldest batch gets used first, and anything close to expiring is flagged.
- Your order list. Anything at or below your reorder level lands here, grouped by supplier, with how many to buy. Tap I ordered it, then It arrived to add it to stock.
- Add an item. Add anything you stock. Set how many you want to keep, when to reorder, units per case, cost, and your supplier.
- Find things fast. Filter by Need ordering, Expiring or Out, or search by name, category or supplier.
- Recent changes. Every count change is logged, so you can see what was used and what came in. Your team can update it too.
